**Being apart of this Organisation does not effect your membership or affiliations with existing organisations or associations.  Politics are not apart of this organisation and we aim to promote a unity and community of Martial Artists to help and support each other in sharing "the knowledge".

It is not the Scottish Fighting Arts Society role but each of the Individual "Member Groups" to be responsible for their own Administration, Management and Operations for those Teaching  & Training within their own Organisation.  Including Both Instructors and Student Insurance, Maintaing PVG & CRB Disclosure Checks*, Maintenance of their Teaching Syllabus - etc. 

The Scottish Fighting Arts Society may ask "Member Groups" to view or  provide copies of the above for record purposes and may seek Confirmation or Further Information by contacting other bodies, organisations or groups regarding this information.

*The Scottish Fighting Arts Society can provide access to the PVG Scheme and Disclosure Checks for Member Group Instructors for those who do not already have one and can also help with with these Checks for Other Martial Arts Instructors who wish to Join the Scottish Fighting Arts Society.  We are able to  provide this as an Enrolled Body with Volunteer Scotland.  Other Checks may be done on Potential New Member Groups and Instructors before granting Member Group Status in the Scottish Fighting Arts Society.
