Established in 2006 by Sensei Alan Mitchell, Kingsmills Kempo School is founding member group fo the Scottish Fighitng Arts Society, these classes are for everyone from complete beginners to black belts including both Male and Female students.

In these classes a comprehensive syllabus is taught consisting of Kicks, Punches, Locking Techniques, Throws, Nerve Point Applications, Sparring, Ground and Grappling work with defences against weapons included to deal with today’s current social climate.  The system and syllabus is flexible to suit each student regardless of ability enabling them to effectively defend themselves against various attacks from single and multiple attackers.

Progression through the Kempo School Syllabus is monitored by the use of a regular grading test for students.  On satisfactory completion of this test students may move up a grade and or coloured belt.  There are set standards for this which with a regular training pattern stands students in good stead to pick up the movements, techniques and attitude required to work through the syllabus and move up grades.
